Just started this book last night; kinda of a strange and uncommon mix, fantasy and science fiction. (Usually you have one or the other, not both combined.) This book takes place in either an alternate universe or the future where all races have been merged into one race. We are introduced to four different teenagers that are being held captive by the Alliance, the group that was in charge of the Merge. Not only are these teenagers the only non-merged humans on the planet (different races), each of them have a supernatural power. For the moment, it does not seem that the Alliance is aware that these four have these powers. I am curious to know why these teens have these powers!
